Buns Have Never Had it Better

Louie’s Original, the latest restaurant from Bacchus Management Group, is now open – serving up some of San Francisco’s best burgers, fries, chicken tenders and milkshakes.

In creating the branding, Office was inspired by the quirkiness and playfulness of traditional burger joints. The restaurant’s distinctive personality comes through in the “Buns Have Never Had it Better” tagline, slightly wonky typography and hand-drawn illustrations, including the Burger Guy. The character’s flag changes out during Giants and Warriors seasons, and for Pride Month and other occasions.

Bold visuals make a statement in the packaging and in the cozy wood-paneled interiors, designed by Stephen Brady of S.B. Brady Design and Left Coast Design.

Louie’s joins Bacchus restaurants La Connessa and Magic Donuts & Coffee at luxury development Mason on Mariposa in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood.
